Congratulations to the April 2018 Fan Mail recipients!
Samantha Sigurdson, Event Host
Samantha was amazing and she is such an asset to Rogers Arena. She made my boys (3 year old twins) first game / birthday a memory. She went above and beyond to make this day special, it’s not often you come across people like this and I share this with her. She made an effort to talk to my twins and made sure they were having lots of fun. I hope she remains a part of your staff for many years to come. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and for making this experience great for the entire family. Way to go, Samantha!

Lindsay went above and beyond, finding wheelchair accessible seat for a suite guest. Way to go, Lindsay!

We were assigned 5 BBW staff to work at Gate 2. I asked Kaleb if he could help them. He “stepped up” no questions asked. He made sure the gate ran very smoothly. Way to go, Kaleb!

At the end of the event, Darren noticed a male slumped over at North Plaza against the wall. His quick thinking in altering me, which lead to first aid / paramedics to administer NARCAN and saved his life. Way to go, Darren!

On another rainy night, Marco got an umbrella base at the gate and as the guest came through with their web umbrellas, he put them in bags for them. Way to go the extra mile!

Marco was extremely polite and well-manned. I had taken my mother and sister to the Rod Stewart concert and they require extra time to move due to their disabilities. He treated them like they were the only ones in the stadium and told them not to rush and take their time. I’m not sure how old he was, but I’m sure his parents raised him right. This young man deserved to be thanked. Way to go, Marco!

Guests arrived at the end of the 2nd period from the island only to find that the tickets the purchased were bogus. Patty found 2 seats for them and brought them in. It was their first NHL game and they were beyond happy! Patti always looks after the guests!
