Making History – Vancouver, the First Canadian City to Host The Laver Cup!

September availability opens next week, be a part of history when The Laver Cup comes to Rogers Arena!

This will be the first time the World team, which includes Canada, will host the Laver Cup outside the United States. Vancouver is a great tennis city and one of the world’s top tourism destinations so a most worthy choice for the prestigious Laver Cup.

The three-day Laver Cup competition pits six of the best players from Team Europe, captained by tennis legend Bjorn Borg, against six leading players from Team World, led by Borg’s professional rival, John McEnroe.

Played on a dramatic black indoor court, the Laver Cup debuted in Prague in 2017 and has since rotated destinations between Europe and the World, staged in Chicago in 2018, Geneva in 2019, Boston in 2021 and in 2022, at The O2 in London from September 23-25. Now it is Vancouver’s turn to host this iconic event which celebrates the best of the best in the game of Tennis, September 22nd – 24th here at Rogers Arena.
