Working staff receive a 50% food discount at all locations on the concourse as well as free fountain pop. This is applied to both food and N/A beverages.
- Not applicable when at an event as a fan
- Only applies to a single serving food item (not a whole pizza)
30% off Retail
Staff receive 30% off merchandise at the Canucks Team Store year round.
- Does not apply to concert merchandise
15% off at Sports Bar
When not working and dining in the Sports Bar, staff may receive 15% off their food purchases.
- Does not apply to alcohol
- Must show proof of employment to redeem (Ex. Staff ID)
On-site Lockers
Staff have access to an on-site locker room with built in locks. Lockers are for day use only. Left over belongings may be cleared out and held at Gate 9 Security. Gate 9 security is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Reward and Recognition
The DREAM Reward and Recognition Program is tailored exclusively for our incredible part-time staff. This initiative is designed to shine a spotlight on the extraordinary efforts of our team members who go above and beyond, creating memorable experiences for fans and colleagues alike.
What is a WOW Moment?
A ‘WOW Moment’ is anytime an employee is witnessed as going above and beyond the call of duty to create memorable and positive experiences for fans and/or their teammates.
A ‘WOW Moment’ is created by an employee who:
- Embodies the following values – Discipline, Respect, Excellence, Attitude and Mindset.
- Believes that anything is possible and encourages others to do so as well.
- Seeks opportunity to create impactful connection with those around them.
How WOW moments can manifest in your respective areas will be unique to your team. You are responsible for establishing how the above criteria fits into the tasks and duties of your staff and could result in a WOW moment.
DREAM Dollars
DREAM Dollars are instant recognition vouchers that employees can receive directly from management or leadership when they are witnessed to have created a ‘WOW Moment” for a fan or colleague.

- DREAM Dollars are $5 vouchers that can be spent at fixed concession stands and Retail team’s store.
- They are tax exclusive.
- DREAM Dollars have no cash value, and no change will be given.
- If lost, no replacements will be provided.
- Staff may use DREAM Dollars when not working, but usual discount policies will apply. (50% off at concession only when working, must be an active employee)
- Will be valid for the 23/24 fiscal year (expiring August 31st)
- All PT staff are eligible (including supervisors)
- Misuse of DREAM Dollars will be treated as theft and will result in disciplinary action.
Night of DREAMS
While DREAM dollars serve as immediate tokens of appreciation, we have also curated an extraordinary experience for those whose ‘Wow Moments’ truly stand out.
Peer to peer, employees can nominate each other via an online formstack (QR code posted in all staff common areas) when they witness each other going above the call of duty for a fan or colleague.
All nominations will be sent to the respective manager on a weekly basis for personal follow up and recognition. Standout nominations will be sent for review to be considered for a Night of DREAMS experience and can receive the following:
- 2x tickets to a Canucks Game
- $50 Canucks Gift Card
- Staff Blog Spotlight

We encourage all team members to actively participate in the nomination process.
Share your ‘Wow Moments’ and the extraordinary efforts of your colleagues through our nomination formstack.
Nominations can be submitted from peer to peer and staff are encouraged to nominate outside of their respective department/area.
